First top 10 participation
Last weekend we jumped at CHI Genève were our first participation in the Rolex IJRC Top 10 was scheduled! Gancia de Muze (Malito de Reve) jumped an excellent clear in the first round, which allowed us to start last in the second round. "I really had my mind set on this first participation," says Niels. "Even my wife and three children went to Geneva to encourage me. In the second round I took too much risk, but I absolutely did not want to ride for a second place." Unfortunately for Niels the risk resulted in one down, so he and Gancia had to settle for a sixth place.
Delux van T&L (Toulon) clearly had a good time in Geneva. He became 11th in the 1m55 class on the first day and jumped to a 9th place in the 1m55 on Saturday. For Kadaffi van Orti (Diamant de Semilly), who was bought at the Woodlands International Sales as a 4-year-old, his third five-star competition also looked fantastic. He jumped clear in the 1m45, 1m50 and 1m40 for three days, finishing the final class with a 9th place.
