Delux Van T&L 5th in the LGCT GP of Doha!

The new season of the Longines Global Champions Tour had an excellent start for Niels and actually for all the Belgian riders. Of the 10 compatriots who started on Saturday afternoon during the second round of the Global Champions League, no fewer than 8 managed to advance to the first Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of the season! Niels counted here on Delux van T&L, with whom he finished 12th after a neat clear round.

And also in the Grand Prix Niels and Delux did what was expected of them! Delux, who was already in a good form last week in Doha, jumped again a great round which made them qualify for the jump-off together with 6 others. As the fourth starter in that jump-off, he was well on his way to deliver the first clear round, until Delux had an atypical hindleg fault on the penultimate obstacle. It eventually earned Niels a nice 5th place.

But also Frenchy VDS made her debut last weekend in the Longines Global Champions Tour. She impressed again during the opening day when, after a clear round, she became 8th in the first round of the Global Champions League.
