Just not enough in Lyon...

For Niels' first World Cup competition of the season, he chose Jenson van ‘t Meulenhof and Utamaro d’Ecaussines. In Lyon, France, the competition started well on Friday: Utamaro jumped excellently in the CSI5* Grand Prix, but unfortunately one penalty time prevented Utamaro and Niels from the jump-off ... Jenson also made a good start: he jumped clear in the 1m50 but unfortunately got 6 penalty points in the second phase.

Over to Sunday, for Jenson's first World Cup competition! The bay stallion made a fantastic start, but a mistake at obstacle 9A prevented the combination from the jump-off ... Off to Verona!
