Jenson van 't Meulenhof Z

Now that his eldest offspring are performing at international 1.60m level, it can be determined that Jenson van ’t Meulenhof Z largely inherits his own qualities. With his unlimited scope, big canter, and fantastic character, Jenson van ’t Meulenhof Z has made a difference in the sport himself. Under Niels Bruynseels, he jumped to the second place with the Belgian team in the Nations Cup final in Barcelona, finished fourth in the GCT Grand Prix of London, and was regularly placed in prominent 5* competitions. “Jenson is a very special horse to me, and he has jumped the toughest courses all over the world. Together we have achieved great successes, and now he can fully focus on breeding. He is very pleasant to ride, has a big-framed conformation, and a fantastic canter. Additionally, he has an unusually sweet character and is very cool-headed. Combined with his enormous scope, this made him a horse of world-class”, praises Niels the stallion.
Given his excellent lineage, Jenson van ’t Meulenhof Z’s own qualities certainly did not come out of nowhere. Both from his sire's side, via the Grand Prix stallion Vagabond de la Pomme, and from his dam Narcotique de Muze IV, he carries the valuable performance genes of the Grand Prix mare Qerly Chin. This Chin Chin mare has built up a fantastic legacy. Jenson van ’t Meulenhof Z’s dam Narcotique de Muze IV has performed at international 1.50m level with Ludo Philippaerts, while granddam Qerly Chin showcased her qualities at the highest level with Christophe Barbeau. It is a family from which many international showjumpers originate, such as the 1.60m level horses Boyante de Muze, Sea Coast Ferly, Giovani de la Pomme, Querlybet Hero, Go Easy de Muze, and Iphigeneia de Muze. Jenson van ’t Meulenhof Z himself is a sibling to nine international showjumpers, which underlines the power of this performance family.
The eldest offspring of Jenson van ’t Meulenhof Z are competing at international 1.50/1.60m level already, such as Inoui du Seigneur (Rik Hemeryck), No-Comment de Septon (Odile Gierech) and Otto de Kalvarie (Riccardo Pisani). He leaves his mark and seems to be developing into a top breeding stallion. “Jenson passes on his size, big canter, good rideability, scope, and frame to his offspring. I have also used him extensively in breeding myself, and with a mare that has blood, Jenson consistently produces a very good showjumper.”
