Rising Stars of Showjumping: NB Stallions Excel in Belgian Stallion Competition

The stallion show season is in full swing, and NB Stallions’ rising stars are already making a strong impression. Last weekend, at the second round of the EquiLannoo Belgian Stallion Competition, two exceptional young stallions—Un Baron van de Zeshoek and Senecio Z—demonstrated their immense promise and talent.

Un Baron van de Zeshoek, a 2020 stallion by El Barone 111 Z, competed in the 5-year-old stallion category under the skilled guidance of Jeroen de Winter. Delivering an impressive clear round, Un Baron showcased his scope, carefulness, and impeccable technique—qualities that underline his potential as a future star in both sport and breeding.

Meanwhile, Senecio Z, a 2021 BWP-approved stallion by Hunters Scendro, took to the arena with Jorik Vervoort in the saddle. Competing in the 4-year-old stallion category, Senecio also delivered a smooth and easy clear round, reflecting his natural talent.

Looking ahead, both stallions are set to continue their campaign at Sentower Park on February 8, 2025, before heading to the much-anticipated final of the EquiLannoo Belgian Stallion Competition on March 8, 2025. The final will follow the third phase of the BWP Stallion Inspection at the Azelhof in Lier—a prestigious event that will undoubtedly attract the eyes of breeders and enthusiasts alike.
