Save the best for last!

Just like the last two weeks, Niels was competing again at the Hubside Jumping in St. Tropez last week. Delux Van T&L, Kopernic Van Orti and Luca Van 't Eigenlo returned home in the meanwhile and made way for Frenchy VDS, debutant Hadesh VDS and Nabeau Van Het Migroveld Z, who in his turn made his debut at the four-star level.

And Nabeau's four-star debut went very well because in three days he didn't touch a single pole while also being placed two of the three days. On Friday he became 11th and on Saturday he finished 8th during the Longines Ranking class.

Niels jumped in the CSI2* competition with Diornella-D and Hadesh VDS and both horses left a good impression. Hadesh VDS immediately jumped three days clear during his first international show under the saddle of Niels and became 14th in the 1.40m class on Saturday.

But the highlight of three weeks of French sunshine came yesterday during the closing CSI4 * GP! Niels counted on Gancia de Muze for this and together they lived up to their name once more. In a 15-man jump-off, Niels and Gancia were faster than the rest of the field, ending their show with another brilliant GP victory. "Save the best for last" or how would you call it?
