Traveling reserve

  • Vanderhasselt Yves & Jeunesse (BWP – Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Quasimodo vd Molendreef – Sportstal Vanderhasselt)

1st Reserve

2nd Reserve

  • Philippaerts Olivier & H&M Extra (KWPN – Berlin x Heartbreaker – Leon Spronken BVBA)

Team Manager Peter Weinberg is of course very satisfied with this strong selection. “ Over the past few months, I've had the opportunity to see the combinations at work at several beautiful 3, 4 and 5* competitions. I observed everyone closely, especially during the Nations Cup. After all, especially during these competitions, I was able to make the selection myself and see everyone participate in the same conditions. I don't think there are any stronger combinations at the moment than the ones I've selected!”

For Niels Bruynseels it is the first time that he has been selected to represent Belgium at the Olympics. "It is an honor to be chosen. We have a very strong selection of top horses and riders, so I am very proud to be part of of the team. The Olympics have been in the back of my mind for a long time, but now the journey really begins. With Delux I have always known that I had a fantastic horse with a lot of potential. I am therefore eager to play my part in the team. We will strive for the highest possible result and strive to perform at our absolute best."
