Springtour, stallion competitions and more...

A busy show weekend at Stal Bruynseels ended on a high note with top results from our sport horses.

During the Azelhof Springtour CSI2* in Lier (17-20 March), Matador (2012 gelding by Emerald) had a great performing weekend starting on Thursday with a 5th place on the 1.45m class, closing his show with a 3rd place on Sunday’s Ranking Class.

Stepping up, Nogana van het Peggershof (2013 mare by Ogano Sitte), jumped her first Ranking Class under Niels´ saddle. This very talented reference from Woodland International Sales ended her weekend with a top 10 placing.

Meanwhile at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek (19 March), during the Belgian Stallion Competition Final our young stallions showed all their best attributes as top performing sport horses.

Vintage (2017 by Vagabond de la Pomme) closed his show circuit with 3 out of 3 clear rounds (#22 on the stallion ranking). On the 5yo category the up and coming stallions: Rex van t´Roth (by Genini CL) ranked #5, Chacwood PS (Exelero 2) ranked #5 and Royal Red van het Lindenhof (by Tangelo), finish also with clear rounds. Unfortunately, Qupido H (2016 by Cicero van Paemel Z) missed the last round of the competition due to a minor injury.

It was also a day filled with highlights for two stallions presented by Woodland's International Sales:

Talifax van 'T Roth became BWP Champion Stallion 2022. A son of Halifax vh Kluizebos out of the Caypso Ill mare Ulivia Van 'T Roth. Texas van de Padenborre, a 2019 stallion by Tangelo out of Dirka vd Padenborre (Chin Chin) same mother as Iron Man vd Padenborre and other 1.60 level horses, was also BWP approved.

After a busy show/approval season, all stallions will now be available for breeding. For more information check our Stallion page in the website.
